Apparent wave front aberration in the “Cat’s Eye” configuration at high apertures

Abstract

Within the “Cat’s Eye” configuration the reflected phase depends on the incident angle on the return mirror, particular for high NA lenses. This phase-error is derived from Fresnel's law and compared with interferometric measurements.
