UFF Spotting Technique for Studying Polishing Process Conditions for Optical Glasses and Ceramics

Abstract

We report on the use of UltraForm Finishing spot taking technique to study the surface interactions and process parameters with a variety of polishing pads. The work extends from relatively soft glasses to hard ceramics.
