Abstract

A tri-component (3-C) fiber-optic interferometric accelerometer using weak fiber Bragg grating array is proposed and tested. Experimental results showed that the axis sensitivity was about 55 dB and the suppression effect of cross-axil sensitivity is 30 dB in the frequency range of 5 Hz ~ 120 Hz.
