Vibration frequency and acceleration measurement using a liquid-filled photonic crystal fiber sensor

Abstract

A novel vibration sensor based on a liquid-filled photonic crystal fiber is presented. The sensor can accurately measure the vibration frequency in the range of 10 Hz to 20 kHz and the vibration acceleration.
