Polarization division multiplexing pulse coding for eliminating the effect of polarization pulling in Golay-coded BOTDA sensor

Abstract

We present a new approach to cancel the effect of polarization pulling in Golay- coded BOTDA sensor by using polarization division multiplexing pulse coding, measurement certainty is improved by ~2.5 times.
