Propofol Detection Using Optical Fibre Long Period Grating Sensors with Molecularly Imprinted Host-Guest Binding Sites in TiO2 Films

Abstract

Real time monitoring of plasma propofol concentration is an important goal for safe anaesthesia. LPGs functionalized with host-guest imprinted TiO2 films were used to test propofol detection in aqueous solutions. The lowest detected concentration was 0.6 μM.
