Commercial Phosphorescence Fiber-Optic Sensor for Long Distance Temperature Measurement

Abstract

Development of an inexpensive phosphorescence-type temperature sensor for use with long distance optical fibers and in harsh, hydrogen-rich environment is presented. New phosphorescent materials, optical splitter with effective wavelengths separation were developed.
