Abstract

We have demonstrated a quasi-distributed sensor interrogation system using an active mode-locking (AML) laser for multiple fiber Fabry-Perot interferometer (FPI) sensing heads. The length change of fiber FPI sensing head segments can be successfully measured by the simple modulation frequency sweeping of AML laser cavity.
