An interrogation scheme for cost-effective structural integrity monitoring using FBGs and DWDM tunable lasers

Abstract

We have employed a commercial tunable laser that it is widely employed in DWDM links to decrease the cost of a network of FBG-sensors. The accuracy of the FBG-sensors is enough for structural integrity monitoring.
