Abstract

An embedded Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) ultrasonic Lamb-Wave sensor has been experimentally investigated, showing very good correlation with piezoelectric sensors and surface-attached FBGs. Dispersion and directional effects were measured and defects were identified and located.
