Microstructured Polymer Optical Fiber biosensors for detection of DNA and antibodies

Abstract

We demonstrate selective detection of fluorescently labeled single stranded DNA molecules from aqueous solutions using a Microstructured Polymer Optical Fiber. Furthermore, we present results on indirect label-free detection of antibodies by labeling a probe molecule.
