Free Form Factor Optical Current Sensor for AC and DC Commercial Power Applications

Abstract

The commercial applications of a current sensor, where the sensing fiber is free to wrap-around the conductor, are discussed. AC and DC can be measured with ±0.15% and ±0.1% accuracy, respectively, from −40 to +60 °C.
