Abstract
Optical fiber chemical sensors are playing an important role in chemical detection because they combine the characteristics and advantages of optochemical detection with the possibility of developing miniaturized compact devices, able to be included in standard analytical chemical and medical labs as well as in control of industrial chemical processes.
