Fiber Bragg grating for use within high-accuracy Fiber Optic Gyroscope

Abstract

The Fiber Optic Gyroscope takes advantage of the Sagnac effect along a fiber coil to measure an angular speed. It is basically an interferometer operating with very small path unbalance.
