Abstract

An optical heterodyne interferometer within an optical integrated frequency shifter is presented. The optical frequency shifter, which generates two independent frequency of light, is fabricated by proton exchange method on LiNb03 substrate. As a result of the experimental measurement with a standard thickness sample, the interferometer shows high thermal stability with maximum error in measurement of 1.8nm at the temperature about from 19°C to 33°C.
