SIMULTANEOUS STRAIN AND TEMPERATURE RECOVERY:ERROR ANALYSIS

Not Accessible

Abstract

Measurement of two physical parameters with a single optical fibre length can be carried out using two independent measurements simultaneously. This paper reports on the analysis of the systematic errors associated with the measurement process. The effect of these errors is calculated for interferometric (Fabry-Perot), dual mode, polarimetric, dispersive fourier transform spectroscopy and fibre Bragg grating sensor systems.
