Feasibility of Transmitting 270 Gbit/s with PAM-8 in O-band CWDM4 with IM/DD System

Abstract

We have shown transmission of 270 Gb/s with PAM-8 at each lane of CWDM4 in the O-band up to 2 km. The BER performance in each lane are very similar at 7% HD-FEC limit.
