Full-Duplex Coherent Optical System Enabled by Comb-Based Injection Locking Optical Process

Abstract

A full-duplex coherent optical link based on optical frequency comb and injection-locking optical process is demonstrated. Simultaneous bi-directional transmission of 32-GBd DP-16QAM signal over 80-km fiber is achieved with remote LO delivery.
