Abstract

All-optical TDHP-OFDM system with four-sparse-subcarrier-multiplexing and power-loading has been proposed for data-rate-adaptive transmission. 40-Gbit/s, 60-Gbit/s, and 80-Gbit/s can be selected by changing the ratio of PAM2 and PAM4, and all BERs achieve the FEC limit.
