FTN SSB 16-QAM Signal Transmission and Direct Detection using a THP-MIMO-FFE

Abstract

A joint equalization scheme consisting of Tomlinson-Harashima precoding and MIMO-FFE is proposed to effectively mitigate the ISI induced by FTN signaling. We experimentally demonstrate a 28-GBaud 16-QAM signal transmission with a record 16.67% FTN ratio.
