Optically Controlled Beam-steering Wireless Systems

Abstract

Wavelength-controlled 2D steering of mm-wave beams and infrared beams provides high communication capacity, privacy and energy efficiency. Using diffractive elements and accurate user localization, delivery of multiple 10GbE video streams by infrared beams is demonstrated.
