107 Tb/s Transmission of 103-nm Bandwidth over 3×100 km SSMF using Ultra-Wideband Hybrid Raman/SOA Repeaters

Abstract

We report on the ultra-wideband transmission of 254 PCS-64QAM channels over 300 km of SSMF. We demonstrate a 107-Tb/s transmission throughput over a continuous 103 nm optical bandwidth using backward Raman pumping and SOA technology.
