Mobility-Aware 5G Midhaul Network Design for Optimizing Edge Computing Resources

Abstract

We present a 5G midhaul design algorithm for connecting suitable groups of distributed units to each central unit based on the mobility patterns of connected vehicles, with the goal of minimizing edge computing resources.
