FPGA-based Layered/Enhanced ACO-OFDM Transmitter

Abstract

We present an FPGA-based QPSK-encoded 9.375 Gb/s layered/enhanced ACO-OFDM transmitter giving a high spectral efficiency. The measured Q-factor is greater than 13 dB after 20-km standard single-mode fiber transmission.
