Abstract

This paper focuses on the distributed measurement of inter-modal crosstalk for spliced FMFs, and reveals that single-way inter-modal crosstalk in spliced GI-FMFs, unlike round-trip crosstalk with reflectometric methods, can be characterized using a BOTDA-based method.
