Demonstration of Reconfigurable WDM Multicast Supporting Content Replication and Protection Switching for Content Delivery Optical Network

Abstract

We propose a reconfigurable WDM multicast scheme supporting content replication and protection switching for CDON through SOA and our LCoS-based TB-WSS. One-to-six/seven/eight 25 Gb/s QPSK WDM multicasts also with protection switching function have been successfully demonstrated.
