Abstract

The eigenvalue of the associated equation of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation which describes lightwave propagation in a nonlinear dispersive fiber, is invariable. This property can be applied to a nonlinearity-resilient modulation scheme and analysis of soliton collision induced rogue wave generation.
