Broadband, Mode-Selective 15-Mode Multiplexer Based on Multi-Plane Light Conversion

Abstract

We report a 15 spatial mode multiplexer based on Multi-Plane Light Conversion, with high mode selectivity across the full C+L band. The multiplexer shows average 4.4 dB insertion loss and 23 dB mode selectivity.
