Adaptive Physical-layer Network Coding over Visible Light Communications

Abstract

We propose and experimentally demonstrate the adaptive physical-layer network coding to boost throughput of VLC-based two-way relay networks. Experimental results show that the network capacity can be improved by 100% with ~2.5-dB SNR penalty.
