Multidimensional tuning of silica whispering-gallery microcapillary resonators

Abstract

We demonstrate a multidimensional tuning method of the silica whispering-gallery resonators. This method fully takes advantage of the unique structure of the microcapillary resonator to separately and easily tune its extinction ratio and resonance wavelength.
