Abstract

The tradeoff between filtering and crosstalk penalties is investigated for ROADM sequences configured in broadcast-and-select or route-and-select ROADM architectures transmitting PDM-8QAM and PDM-16QAM signals routed as individual channels or super-channels within the 37.5GHz grid.
