Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate 20 Gbit/s quadrature phase-shift keying (QPSK) signal transmission in a 2.6 km conventional graded-index OM3 multimode fiber (MMF) by selective exciting 4 different OAM mode groups with fiber based mode exciter and mode filter, and achieve bit-error rate (BER) below 2e-3.
