Abstract

All-optical clock recovery with tunable output clock wavelength is demonstrated at 100 GHz based on Fabry-Perot (FP) filter, semiconductor optical amplifiers (SOAs) and a programmable pulse-shaping optical filter. Due to the tailored shape of the filter, high quality clock pulse with a narrow pulsewidth of 2.3 ps is obtained.
