Experimental Demonstration of CPRI Data Compression based on Partial Bit Sampling for Mobile Front-Haul Link in C-RAN

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate CPRI data compression based on a partial bit sampling and compare its performance with other compression methods. Very low compression delay and EVM degradation less than 3.2 µsec and 0.2% are presented.
