Multiband OQAM CAP Modulation in MMW RoF Systems with Enhanced Spectral and Computational Efficiency

Abstract

We demonstrate an OQAM CAP modulation technique for high-capacity small-cell RoF systems with IOTA pulse shaping. Comparing with traditional CAP modulation, both spectral and computational efficiencies are improved with 50% less number of filter taps.
