Micro-Bend-Resistant Low-DMGD 6-LP-Mode Fiber

Abstract

We report the design and the fabrication of a low differential-mode-group-delay 6-LP-mode fiber with a micro-bending sensitivity lower than that of standard SMFs. This fiber also exhibits low mode coupling which improves differential-mode-group-delay compensation.
