Abstract

Filter-bank multi-carrier (FBMC) is used to demonstrate a full-duplex asynchronous quasi-gapless carrier-aggregation for millimeter-wave radio-access-technology in heterogeneous 5G mobile-data-network. Compared with OFDM with guard-bands, FBMC achieves higher spectral-efficiency with better EVMs at less received power.
