Abstract

Based on photonic-assisted radio-frequency arbitrary waveform generation, a wireless communication system is assembled to experimentally demonstrate channel sounding, on-line channel distortion compensation and error-free data transmission for ultrabroadband (2–18 GHz) radio-frequency signals.
