Wavelet Transform-OFDM in indoor visible light communication

Abstract

We demonstrate that wavelet transform (WT)-OFDM without cyclic prefix has the similar BER performance with conventional Fourier transform (FT)-OFDM in VLC, while effectively improves the transmission distance by 20% due to less PAPR and better nonlinear tolerance.
