6 port 3×3 Wavelength Selective Cross-Connect by Software-Only Reprogramming of a 1xN Wavelength Selective Switch

Abstract

We demonstrate a wavelength selective cross-connect that can route any wavelength of any of the inputs to any output. The device is created by simple reprogramming a conventional 1xN wavelength selective switch, without hardware changes.
