Manufacturing Issues for Optical Electronic Data Communications Products

Abstract

Optical electronic communications products require manufacturing assembly processes that combine both electronic and optical technologies. The talk explores several of the basic manufacturing processes that will be needed for emerging products, addresses the cost implications of these processes and describes some processes specific to optical electronic component manufacturing.
