Modal Crosstalk Measurement Based on Intensity Tone for Few-Mode Fiber Transmission Systems

Abstract

We propose a novel method based on intensity tone for measuring modal crosstalk in few-mode fiber transmission systems. Our method can measure crosstalk for multiple modes simultaneously with wide dynamic range of 40 dB.
