Scalable and Distributed Optical Interconnect Architecture based on AWGR for HPC and Data Centers

Abstract

We propose an AWGR-based scalable optical direct interconnect architecture exploiting a flat distributed Thin-CLOS topology at the core-layer. The architecture scales beyond 100,000 nodes with a diameter of 7, low latency, high degree and throughput.
