Linear and Nonlinear Transmission of 16-QAM Over 105 km Phase-Sensitive Amplified Link

Abstract

We demonstrate 16-QAM transmission over a 105 km phase-sensitive amplified link showing significantly improved performance in both the linear and nonlinear propagation regime. Constellation and BER measurements are performed.
