Demonstration of All-optical Inverse Multiplexing in Elastic Optical Networks

Abstract

We propose all-optical inverse multiplexing in elastic optical networks using superchannel multicasting to achieve efficient spectrum utilization. We show the benefit by simulation and demonstrate the feasibility by experiment on OFDM superchannel.
