Terabit Optical OFDM demultiplexer in Silicon Photonics

Abstract

The design, implementation in silicon photonics and characterization of a demultiplexer for an OFDM signal using generalized MZIs are presented. The filter performs the DFT operation to demultiplex a 1.2 Tbps OFDM super-channel.
