Hybrid DWDM-TDMA PONs for Next Generation Access

Abstract

We present hybrid DWDM-TDMA PONs as a means for integration of access and metro networks, and review results from recent system demonstrations. Results on a novel burstmode receiver specifically designed for such systems are provided.
