854 Gb/s Superchannel InP Transmitter and Receiver Photonic Integrated Circuits utilizing Real-Time Detection of PM-8QAM

Abstract

We demonstrate 854.4 Gb/s, polarization multiplexed 8QAM, superchannel monolithic InP transmitter and receiver photonic integrated circuits (10 wavelengths at 14.24 Gbaud) with real-time detection, using coherent ASICs.
