Abstract

We experimentally compare the performance of NGI-OFDM and Nyquist-WDM superchannels with same spectral efficiency in both back-to-back and transmission cases. Because of lower inter-carrier interference, the Nyquist-WDM has better performance than the NGI-OFDM.
