Transmission Performances of Differential 6-ary PSK Signal with 10.7-Gb/s NRZ-OOK Neighboring Channels over SMF and DSF Links

Abstract

We demonstrate a differential 6-ary PSK-based transmission system with 10-Gb/s NRZ-OOK neighboring channels over 320-km long SMF with in-line dispersion compensation and DSF links and compare its performances with that of a classical PDM-DQPSK-based system.
